Waves are depicted in this series through drawing gestures evoking fur. Wolf fur and ocean waves were the inspiration for the pieces. The drawing process centers on a play between precision of lines and illumination of surfaces. Swaths of glitter sit against fine lines. The juxtaposition of materials creates tension between a sense of distillation and exuberance.
